FORT WAYNE, IN — Sweetwater, the third largest music instrument and pro audio retailer in the U.S., recently hired 10 new Sales Engineers, with nine of them coming to Fort Wayne from outside Indiana. The new hires bring total Sweetwater employment to more than 500.

Sales Engineer Phil Schwan grew up in England. He moved to the states to attend Greenville College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business. He is also a freelance composer.
Sales Engineer Nick LaMendola comes from Grand Island New York. He graduated from Duquesne University this year with a Bachelor Degree in Music Technology.
Sales Engineer Brent Leuthold is from Lake in the Hills, Illinois. He recently graduated from Ohio University with a degree in audio music production.
Sales Engineer Jared Kalish is from Suffern, New York. He graduated from SUNY College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry. He interned for a management company for the band Duran Duran.
Sales Engineer Matt McKible is from Bow, New Hampshire, and received his Bachelor of Music degree from Ball State University. He has worked for Indiana Public Radio as a producer/engineer.
Sales Engineer Robert Johnson is from Arlington Texas. He received his certificate in audio engineering from the Conservatory of Recording Arts.
Sales Engineer PJ Noxon is from Honolulu, Hawaii. He has a music education degree from Indiana University. He has taught at several universities both in the states and overseas.
Sales Engineer Chris Anderson is from Milledgeville, Ohio. He received a degree in music production and technology from Berklee College of Music.
Sales Engineer Chris Ishak is from New York. He is a vocalist and performed at Carnegie Hall and on Broadway during a production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
Sales Engineer Jason Baldwin grew up in Indiana. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Valparaiso University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music. After graduation he worked for a sound design company that does work for PBS.
