NILES, IL and COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Shure Inc. acquired Informationsteknik, a provider of discussion systems and AV communication solutions.

Under the agreement, Shure now owns Informationsteknik and its three divisions:
- The Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) Division, which is responsible for the design, research and development, manufacturing, and global distribution of DIS products
- The Project Division, which is responsible for specialized AV system integration and installation
- The Rental and Staging Division, providing sound and visual support for corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, world summits and other events
