Matteo Cingolani Joins Beyma R&D Department as Electroacoustic Engineer

MONCADA, Spain – Beyma announced that Matteo Cingolani has joined the company’s R&D department as electroacoustic engineer.

Matteo Cingolani is an Italian electro-acoustic engineer, sound processing and audio hardware enthusiast. Matteo obtained a PhD in acoustics from the University of Bologna. His research was primarily focused on the study of wave propagation in periodic structures and the application of acoustic metamaterials in loudspeakers and audio systems.

During his PhD path, he collaborated with the research and development department of an Italian Pro audio company, working on the optimization of transducers and a vented-port subwoofers.
