ORANGE, CA – Radian Audio Engineering named Mark Pinske executive director of sales and marketing. Pinske has over 20 years of experience in the pro audio industry and is known for his seven-year association with Frank Zappa as his chief recording engineer.
Pinske joins Radian Audio from Peavey Electronics, where he was general manager of Media Matrix, Crest Audio and Architectural Acoustics for nearly a decade. He had a history of product development prior to that appointment, beginning with Quad-Eight Electronics, where he served as engineer, national sales manager and plant superintendent.
Having studied Electronics at the University of Florida, Pinske became involved with live sound mixing and recording for local artists, then B. B. King, Ray Charles and Weather Report. He was later approached by Frank Zappa and went on to work as his front of house, live recording and chief recording engineer for seven years.
"Mark is familiar with the audio industry from recording and sound production through to sound reinforcement, both as an end user and as a manufacturer.
