John Murray Joins FRONT of HOUSE Magazine as Technical Editor

LAS VEGAS – John Murray, a longtime audio professional who has worked in every facet of the live event industry, has joined FRONT of HOUSE magazine as Technical Editor. Most recently, Murray was Technical Editor of Live Sound for 10 years. He joins a new team that includes Mark Frink, editor, and Mark Herman, consulting editor.

"John has spent his entire career on the side of this business that has the math," says Frink. "He's a fabulous addition to an already-stellar team."

 

Murray, a part-time consultant for Renkus-Heinz, also is a principal at Optimum System Solutions, a pro-audio consulting company. He was president of ProSonic Solutions from 2002 to 2009. Prior to that he worked in product development, marketing, and training for TOA Electronics. In the late 1980s and 1990s, he worked for Peavey and Electro-Voice. Murray holds a BS RTV Production & Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Electrical Engineering from Ohio University.
