SYDNEY, Australia — Former V.P of Business Development and Head of the Audio Division for MAC Group US, Jesse Dean, has joined RØDE as Director of Business Development, Americas. With over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, manufacturing and distribution, Mr. Dean will join RØDE’s US-based team, where he previously worked for six years before joining MAC Group in 2018.
As Director of Business Development, Americas, Mr. Dean will be responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies for North, Central and South America through market exploration and assessment and the acquisition of new business opportunities in conjunction with RØDE’s global strategy. The role will also hold substantial responsibility in working with and managing key accounts and affiliates throughout these territories.

Before joining MAC Group in 2018, Mr. Dean worked as National Sales Manager at RØDE and was with the company for nearly six years. Prior to working at RØDE, he was Global Operations Manager at Slate Digital and was one of first members of this organization. He has a background as a classically trained musician, recording artist, editor and performer, as well as an industry educator across audio for video and podcast, studio recording and live sound, which he continues today.
