Harman Names Schuch, Williams to Intercontinental Sales Posts

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Harman Professional announced staff appointments in its Intercontinental Sales division, which works closely with channel partners and dealers in Canada, Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean region that include Frederico Schuch (pictured here), who was named director of the division and Julian Williams, who was named senior sales manager. Schuch will report to Scott Robbins, executive vice president of global sales of Harman’s Professional Division. He will be responsible for managing a team of eight at the Intercontinental Regional Sales Office in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Williams will report to Schuch.

Schuch most recently served as senior sales manager for Harman Professional, having been named to that position in September 2012 after four years as national sales manager for Harman do Brazil. Prior to that, he held the position of consumer and professional business unit export manager for Eletrônica Selenium SA. He has 14 years of sales experience in domestic and international markets.

“As an executive with worldwide experience and an in-depth understanding of Harman Professional, Frederico is uniquely qualified to take on the role of Director, Intercontinental Sales,” Robbins said. “We see tremendous opportunities in so many geographic markets that Frederico will oversee, and his professional relationships and technical expertise will serve him well in maximizing on these opportunities.”

Julian WilliamsWilliams joins Harman Professional from Dobbs Stanford Corp., where he has held various positions over the past 10 years, most recently serving as national retail accounts coordinator. In the position he coordinated the efforts of the entire Dobbs Stanford sales force across seven states regarding brand messaging, products sell-through, and seasonal promotional pushes at key national retail accounts.

Williams has also held positions with Maximedia Production Group and Guitar Center. He holds the distinction of being a U.S. Army Reservist from 1994-2003. Williams holds a BA in Political Science from American University.

“Julian’s experience in the professional audio/video market, combined with his familiarity with Harman Professional as a member of Dobbs Stanford, perfectly suits him for this position,” said Robbins. “I am confident that Julian will be successful in growing business in the Intercontinental North region across the various Harman Professional brands.”
