DES PLAINES, IL — Gepco International announced three promotions within its sales team. Glen Powers has been named director of sales and Ken Bernd and Rick Fernandez branch managers of the Central/International and Western regions, respectively.
“Glen, Rick and Ken have been integral parts of the Gepco team for quite some time, and I am happy to announce these well-deserved promotions,” said Gary Geppert, CEO for Gepco International. “With over 40 years combined experience in the wiring and cable market, I am confident that their extensive product and application knowledge will help Gepco further strengthen its position in the marketplace.”
In their new roles, Fernandez and Bernd will report directly to Powers, who has been with Gepco for more than five years as national sales manager. In addition to his duties as director of sales, Powers will also be taking on the temporary responsibilities of branch manager for the Eastern region until the company permanently fills that position.
Bernd has more than 20 years experience with Gepco, 10 of which he spent serving as the company’s inside sales manager. Fernandez began his career at Gepco 12 years ago, and has been working as sales manager for Latin America since 2005.
