GAINESVILLE, GA – Danley Sound Labs named Paul Giansante national sales manager. Giansante has been directly involved in many facets of the pro audio industry, serving, among other roles, as a concert manager, an AV integrator and as a general manager for loudspeaker manufacturers.
Giansante has worked as a freelance audio systems engineer in the Midwest, providing engineering, design, installation, and operating services to houses of worship, theaters, and performing arts centers. He also served as concert touring manager with Meyer Sound Laboratories and as Turbosound's product and general manager, where he was involved with product development, marketing and sales, and customer service and support.
Giansante's other experiences include roles played as senior applications engineer for several loudspeaker distributors; chief audio system engineer at DisneyFest Asia; manager/engineer at Signal Perfection Limited; freelance touring/design engineer in Europe; and project manager at Maryland Sound Industries. Among many other artists, he has worked with Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Dire Straits, Neil Young and Whitney Houston. He has also been involved with installations ranging from Pensacola Christian College's main sanctuary; Lambeau Field at Green Bay, WI; The Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas; and Pleasure Island at Disney World in Orlando.
Mike Hedden, president of Danley Sound Labs, noted that Giansante "knows the loudspeaker market inside and out – from the manufacturer's perspective, from the design engineer's perspective, and from the application engineer's perspective."
