LUTON, U.K. – Cadac Holdings Ltd. announced the departure of director of sales Bob Thomas. Thomas had joined Cadac in 2005 as managing director, where he oversaw both the broadening of its product portfolio beyond theatrical sound products and Soundking Group Company Ltd.'s acquisition of Cadac in January 2009.
With the Soundking Group acquisition, Thomas was appointed general manager of Cadac Holdings Ltd.; and for a period also acted as interim general manager of Studiomaster, which had also been acquired by Soundking Group. As Cadac's manufacturing became more integrated within the Soundking Group, Thomas was appointed director of sales, overseeing the launch of the first new consoles – LIVE1, CDC Four and CDC Eight – and the appointment of sales development manager, Vincenzo Borrelli, to open up new distribution channels.
"President Wang, the Soundking Group and everyone at Cadac are immensely grateful to Bob Thomas for everything he has done to turn around the fortunes of this great British audio company and set it on course for a successful future," said Patrick Almond, marketing manager, Soundking Group Europe, who spoke on behalf of Soundking Group and Cadac Holdings. "Everyone here offers him their full support and wishes him every success for the future."
"Cadac is firmly set on its future course with a great R&D team, fantastic new products and a dynamic new sales guy in Vincenzo," Thomas said. "Now is a natural break point for me to move on to concentrate on other interests that are now demanding my full-time attention."
