WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Blue Microphones named Brian Biggott chief technology officer. Biggott, who joined Blue in 2008 in association with Transom Capital Group's acquisition of the company, has led Blue's research and development team through 17 product launches, from concept development to production, over the past three years. As CTO, Biggott will continue to lead Blue's product development for consumer and professional markets.
Prior to his work at Transom Capital and Blue, Biggott was a management consultant in the Los Angeles office of McKinsey & Company. He earned his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the School of Engineering at Stanford University, where he was also a Mayfield Fellow, and received both his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Philosophy from Stanford University.
Biggott will continue to be based out of Blue Microphones headquarters in Westlake Village, CA.
