TORONTO – Adamson announced a Canadian distribution agreement with Montreal-based Theatrixx. Adamson also named All Music Corp. its new exclusive distributor for all of Latin America, with the exception of Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, and named CV Music as its exclusive distributor for Colombia.
Theatrixx, a distributor of lighting, video, and recently professional audio equipment, also manufactures cable distribution and AC distribution systems for local and export markets. Jacques Tessier, founder and CEO of Theatrixx, commented on the Adamson agreement.
"Though I come from an audio background, our distribution has been focused on lighting and video for the past few years. We wanted to expand into audio with a high-end product line. Adamson is clearly one of three dominant players in our eyes, when you look to quality and performance. It's built in Canada and the local market penetration is at a fraction of the potential.
"I've know Brock for more than 20 years and it's always interesting to discuss his innovative approach to speaker design and application," Tessier added. "We recently finished some interesting projects with Adamson products and we were amazed by the sound quality, overall engineering and construction. With their current product line up, team and market potential, it is now the perfect time to make the move. It was an obvious choice."

Theatrixx officially launched Adamson at the recent En Coulisse Show in Montreal, and was expected to support the brand at Toronto's Miac/PAL show May 16 and 17.
Miami-based All Music Corp. will support Adamson in all Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America except for Mexico and Colombia. The main sales and support contact is Marco Breda. All Music Corp. also distributes musical instruments, lighting, cabling and flight cases.
