Corona, CA – The Studiomaster C3X mixer, which has been designed to accommodate live sound and installation applications where compact size and professional features are required, is now available in the United States. The C3X is a 1U-high rackmount 12-input mixer intended to provide the essential features of larger format mixers but in a much smaller package. Four balanced XLR/Jack combi inputs, (two located on the front and two on the rear panel), provide connection for mic and line level sources. Phantom power is available for all four mic inputs and switchable in pairs (1-2 & 3-4). The four stereo inputs feature 1/4-inch jack inputs. Two of the four stereo inputs use both jack and RCA phono connectors for playback, additional wireless mic systems and electronic instruments. All inputs have a post fader and monitor auxiliary send. XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced main outputs are standard as well as main L/R insert jacks for external processing.
The C3X comes fitted with Studiomaster's new custom onboard effects DSP processor. The DSP provides not only reverbs and delays but also 'vocal' effect settings.
The C3X is supplied with removable rack ears for stand-alone operation and a second set of beige colored knobs for color-coding of front panel controls, and is intended for houses of worship, schools, nightclubs, theatres, regional touring and events, audio for video, conference/presentation systems, karaoke/DJ and computer udio.
