KATY, TX–PGF Integrations installed multiple SLS Loudspeakers in the 1,000-seat sanctuary of St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church in Katy, Texas. The new sound system will be utilized during worship services, youth group meetings and community events. PGF Integrations installed several RLA/3s, a US118SW and an 112RT. The 112RT is a full-range bi-amped high quality 12" two-way design that serves as a multipurpose box and offers high SPL at very low distortion. Providing low-frequency extension, the US118SW is a single 18" subwoofer that functions as a high performance ported box design.
"Because structural reconstruction was not an option, we had to choose a sound system that would work best with the existing space," stated Bryan Brazemore, president and CEO of PGF Integrations. "We were able to discreetly rig the SLS speakers so that the aesthetic structures were not blocked, while still allowing for equal distribution of sound throughout the worship center."
