Provider Series, LLC has introduced the new Head-Clip, a new device for transforming any lavalier microphone into a headworn microphone. The Head-Clip is a 1.25mm wire frame designed to hook over both ears and extend down the left cheek.
Each Head-Clip includes five each of three different sizes of specially designed “E” clips, which the company says will attach to any lavalier cable from any manufacturer, and attach to the Head-Clip frame.
The Head-Clip fits virtually all wearers, but can also be bent, formed and trimmed to fit anyone including children. The Head-Clip is ideal for churches, drama departments, theaters, performing arts centers and schools that frequently need headworn microphones for performances, but do not have a budget for typical headworn microphones.
Existing lavalier microphones can now be used as headworn microphones. Using the Head-Clip during dramas or productions is designed to help eliminate the costume rustle that is common when using lavalier microphones. The Head-Clip is also designed to facilitate quick and easy costume changes because the microphone is not clipped to a costume.
The Head-Clip can be used with the Provider Series PSL6 low-profile lavalier microphon for a low-profile, head-worn microphone. It is available in a one, two, five and ten-pack, and is available in black or tan.
