PowerH Powers Up Pro Bowl

HONOLULU, HI — Custom Audio, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, provided audio support for this year's Pro Bowl production in Aloha Stadium, drafting three PowerH 5000 amplifiers from Dynacord to help deliver game day sound. A single PowerH 5000 amp per side was provided for each four-speaker sideline setup, used to cover the cheerleaders during the game and the talent during the halftime show. Featured performers for the halftime event were Henry Kapono and Cheyenne Kimball. An additional single PowerH was used for the stage monitors during the performance. All three amps were running RCM26 remote control DSP modules for IRIS-Net software.

Reported Jeff Kang of Custom Audio, "We ran one on a 30-amp circuit; on the other I set the breaker model to 20 amps, and it didn't trip. They ran all day — sun, shade, humidity, a little bit of rain here and there…"
