LINCOLN, RI — Live sound veteran Dennis Verduchi, the founder and operator of sound company Soundstage Productions, in Providence, RI, passed away on August 19, 2024. He was 72.
Born April 8, 1952, Verduchi was not only a skilled sound engineer but also a talented bassist and singer and was a friendly person who was known and loved by anyone and everyone involved in the local music scene.
Verduchi was a beloved husband to Amanda (Malfitano) Verduchi and a devoted stepfather to Lauren Rappoport and her husband Brendan, and Julianna DePetrillo and her fiancé Nicholas. He was the cherished grandfather of Julian Rappoport and a loving brother to Anthony R. Verduchi and his wife Annette, Cal J. Verduchi and his wife Mary, and the late John B. Verduchi. Dennis was also a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family, many friends and colleagues in the music / sound industry and all who knew him. Rest well…
