KIEV, Ukraine – Maidan Square, the main square of Ukraine's capital city, became the focal point for Maidan's, a concert and dance event produced by Inter, a Ukraine-based TV network, that extended over a 10-week time frame and involved about 3,000 dancers competing for a grand prize valued at $124,000.
To fulfill the audio requirements for the massive crowds drawn to the city square for the 10 live broadcasts and gala concert, Eurythmics' PA division provided RCF TT+ audio gear.
The setup include RCF TTL55-A (line array module) and RCF TTS56-A (subwoofers) for the dance zone and RCF TTL33-A (line array module) and RCF TTS28-A (subwoofers) for delays (#1, #2 and #3).
The large-scale TV show has been entered into the Guinness Book of Records, was broadcast to multiple countries and served as the subject of a French documentary, according to RCF.
