SYDNEY – Australian AV provider Scene Change recently purchased a Soundcraft Si1 console, making its choice only after every member of the company's senior team got a chance to test-drive the console. Vicken Hekimian, Scene Change's Sydney director, noted the logic of including those using the gear in on the purchase decision. "The quality of the equipment motivates the crew to work harder to make our clients happy, which is really important."
Scene Change's senior team credited the console for its on-board control gear, and the fact that no external racks are needed to take up valuable real estate. "There's no question the quality of the onboard gear on the Si1," said Hekimian. "BSS processing, dbx equalization and Lexicon effects are all proven products that we know and trust. It passed all the tests we could throw at it."
