New Zealand Church Goes Digital with iLive

TAURANGA, New Zealand – Jansen Professional Audio & Lighting provided two Allen & Heath's iLive digital mixing systems for the 1,800-capacity Bethlehem Baptist Church as part of a broader audio system upgrade.
Along with the iDR-48 MixRack and iLive-T112 Control Surface for the main sanctuary, Jansen provided an iDR-16 MixRack and iLive-R72 Control Surface for the adjacent youth hall. They represent the church's first use of digital instead of analog mixing systems.

"Our volunteers find iLive logical and simple to use, yet it allows more technical users to dig into advanced features when needed," said Caleb Fryett, the church's technical coordinator.

The church also has set up a total of five PL-10 remote rotary fader panels, which run off a PL-9 hub, to manage foldback personal mixing in both venues.
