MOERDIJK, The Netherlands — Furman has signed on with a new distribution center here to serve European customers. The new distribution hub is located 60 kilometers southwest of Amsterdam, not far from the port of Rotterdam. Through a third-party logistics partnership with D.S.V. Solutions B.V. (DSV), Furman can make use of a ISO9001-certified warehouse facility and DSV's logistics to speed turn-around times for customer orders. Furman will begin operations at the distribution center in February 2009.

"We are continuing to strengthen our European network and this new hub will enable us to provide a higher level of service to our customers," said Chris Swan, vice president of operations for Panamax and Furman. "As we continue to grow, we are poised to meet our customers' needs, providing the best service and the most efficient turn-around time. The new distribution center is indicative of our dedication to providing exceptional customer support, meeting client demand more quickly and with lower delivery costs."
