EAW Gear Added to Ealing Christian Centre

LONDON — The Ealing Christian Centre (ECC) recently upgraded its sound system and selected several EAW SM Series stage monitors for vocalist and band use. The Centre already had an existing EAW KF600 Series Compact Three-Way VAT System, both ground-stacked and flown. The recent upgrade to the monitor system was accomplished with the help of EAW's U.K. dealer AA Systems.

"Sam Blake, ECC's Music and Worship Director, contacted me in November regarding upgrading the monitor system," said Adrian Copestake of AA systems. "After learning that KF650z Compact Array Loudspeakers and SB600z High-Output, Medium Format Subwoofers were already installed, we soon agreed that the SM range of monitors would fit the bill nicely. The system consists of four SM64s and four SM15s — two left and two right. The SM64s will be used for the choir and the SM15s for the musicians. Together, combined with the amps and processors, this now provides the Centre with eight EAW monitor mixes."

"We have been thrilled with the EAW KF600 Series PA,” said Blake. “The sound quality has been exemplary. We simply cannot wait to use the new SM Series monitors."

"When delivering the system on January 23, 2009, joined by Moray McMillin with EAW UK Applications & Support, we were presented with a fabulous building that would now be the home to the new monitors,” said Copestake. “We at AA Systems hope to be working closely with Sam in the future, not only to help integrate the new monitors but also to check and maintain the existing KF system."
