LA CHAPELLE-SUR-ERDRE, France – The Capellia Cultural Centre, which creates song, dance, circus, comedy, music and theatre programs, some geared for kids, is now using a Soundcraft SI3 console installed by local soundco DBAM.
Yann Vaslin, technical director of Capellia, credited the console for "a high level of audio quality," its ability to be "easily and quickly adapted to a number of configurations" and "offer a fast and intuitive experience for the sound engineer."

He also liked the consoles' operating ergonomics, "such as display parameters in either Global or Channel mode, allowing access to all the section parameters horizontally, without needing to refer to a central screen," and also its encoder and OLED displays.

"By integrating all the processing electronics and I/Os in a single frame, it simply replaces any standard analogue console without necessitating any modifications in the cabling and installation," Vaslin said

He also applauded internal processing including BSS graphic EQs and Lexicon FX processors. "This means that without having to find additional budget, we can make the necessary dynamic corrections and achieve even better technical and more creative results."

DBAM also has a Soundcraft Vi6 digital console in its rental fleet.
