ZUSHI, Japan – Otodama Sea Studio has offered summer visitors a range of live beachside performances ranging from jazz, rock, hip-hop, rap and classical guitar since 2005. For this season, One Systems' Japanese distributor, M&N Company Ltd., designed and installed a system using One Systems gear.
M&N used a distributed system consisting of eight One Systems full-range loudspeakers and four One Systems subwoofers to cover the stage and the seating areas. In addition, the festival's producers are using One Systems' self-powered, portable POPS for special events.
"The One Systems loudspeaker systems reproduce vocals and speech with superior articulation," said Yusuke Murakami, an engineer with M&N who designed the system. "These loudspeakers are also ideally suited to the humid beach conditions at Sea Studio. The most attractive part of One Systems is the very high vocal intelligibility of the 212CIM and 112IM loudspeakers. The intelligibility is outstanding and the overall tone quality is exceptional."
"One Systems loudspeakers are built to withstand all types of outdoor weather conditions," said One Systems president Doug MacCallum. "We take great care in weatherproofing each product with our three-layer stainless steel rain shield grille, unique vent design for moisture drainage, weather covers for input panels and specially-treated components."
