HOUSTON – Organizers of The Alley Theatre Ball event in Houston sought to provide 500 attendees with exceptional audio quality without compromising the event’s visual aesthetics. Taking its theme from Alfred Hitchcock movies, planners for the event, titled “Dial H for Hitchcock,” turned to The Events Co., which provided two K-array Pinnacle KR802 II systems.
More details from K-array USA (www.k-arrayusa.com):
K-array’s Pinnacle systems are integrated, self-powered speaker systems that are lightweight with plug and play capabilities. Two KR802 II are composed of two Thunder-KS4 subwoofers, two Thunder-KS4P subwoofers, eight Kayman-KY102 line array elements, mounting and flyware accessories, offering a unique combination of power, clarity, and discretion.
The Pinnacle’s lightweight design provides incredible stability to fly up to 8 Pinnacle Kayman KY102 speakers with just 1 person in a few minutes. The hanging configuration of the Kayman-KY102 speakers provided even front to back coverage and allowed them to be integrated into the event’s decor, ensuring they didn’t distract from the elaborate Hitchcock themed environment. Despite its compact size, the KR802 II systems delivered exceptional sound quality, covering the entire venue with clear and even coverage.
The Alley Theatre Ball demonstrated the effectiveness of K-array’s Pinnacle System in addressing the challenges of high-profile events. By combining powerful audio performance with a discreet design, the Pinnacle System provides a perfect solution for events where sound quality and visual aesthetics are equally important.
