König & Meyer’s new state-of-the-art “Easy-Lock” system was developed to ensure a quick and easy setup of subwoofer and satellite speaker systems. The patented expanding mandrel with a quick-release fastener provides a firm, tight wobble-free fit of the speaker cabinet. The plastic expanding splints also ensure a vibration-free connection between the speaker and the tube.
Simply place the speaker onto the distance rod, and twist and lock the mandrel in the speaker flange. The remove, simply reverse the locking process.
This seemingly simple, yet incomparable new technology is now an attractive feature in a variety of new K&M speaker stands and distance rods – and is also a budget friendly option.
