MUNICH – Integrated Systems Events, which had planned an ambitious program with regional in-person events throughout June in Barcelona, Munich, Amsterdam and London, announced April 30 that it will have to cancel the events planned for Munich and Amsterdam due to uncertainty about Covid-19 restrictions in Germany and the Netherlands.

Originally the #ISELive&Online program included regional in-person events in Barcelona (Fira de Barcelona, Gran Vía, June 1-2), Munich (MAC Forum, June 7-8), Amsterdam (RAI Amsterdam, June 15-16) and London (Evolution, London, June 23-24). Plans for the events in the U.K. and Spain are still under way. Those events will also be supported by ISE Digital, which will run concurrently with the Barcelona event June 1-2 and will be available on demand in the weeks that follow.

The April 30 statement from ISE’s Mike Blackman follows:

In a statement today, Mike Blackman, Managing Director Integrated Systems Events said: “We have today made the decision to cancel the ISE events planned for Munich and Amsterdam. Whilst we have had good support from both exhibitors and visitors who wanted to get together at a local event, new government regulations regarding COVID-19 in both Germany and the Netherlands have meant that we are unable to guarantee being able to proceed with these two events.

“Preparations for Barcelona and London are well underway as the governments ease restrictions in both Spain and the UK and remain on target for the successful return of events. We are looking forward to bringing the industry together and delivering a platform for those who wish to be there and that will be supported by key exhibiting partners, a program of content and networking. These events will be supported by our online platform ISE Digital, providing our global audience with the opportunity to join us online.”
