INDIO, CA – Goldenvoice, organizer of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals that had been set for April 9-11/16-18 and April 23-25, respectively, will have to cancel those dates due to the ongoing pandemic, according to health officials in Riverside County, where the events are held.

No further dates in 2021 have been announced, but Goldenvoice has reportedly not ruled out the possibility of rescheduling the events for the fall, as it had done in 2020, before Covid-19 nixed plans for both the events that had been originally scheduled for the spring and then rescheduled for autumn.

Despite reported doubts about Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, set for March 26-28, as of late January, that event had not been officially postponed or cancelled. Electric Daisy Carnival tickets, for May 21-23 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, meanwhile, have sold out, with no announced plans for rescheduling. Organizers of the U.K.’s Glastonbury Festival, set for June 23-27, however, have already canceled that event.

Update: On Feb. 21, Ultra Music Festival was reportedly canceled for the second year in a row. The next Ultra Fest in Miami is set for March 25-27, 2022.
