New from Airwave Technologies is the AT-4210A 2-channel digital wireless mic system, which operates in the FCC-approved 470-489 MHz frequency band. A similar system (AT-4210) is also available in the (also FCC approved) 514-542 MHz range.

The dual-handheld AT-4210A rig ships with two U-41A cardioid handheld transmitters, which use two AA cells for up to 10 hours of battery life and feature simple infrared sync for coordinating frequencies between the transmitter and the AT-4200 PLL UHF diversity wireless receiver.

The single-rackspace AT-4200 receiver features detachable antennas, large backlit status displays for each channel, remote indicator of transmitter battery life, XLR and ¼”mix outputs and an auto button for fast sweeps of its 144 available UHF frequencies from 470-489 MHz.

Specs include a 240-foot (line of sight) operating range; and a 60 Hz to 16k Hz frequency response. Street price is $579.
