PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Fla. has upgraded its sound reinforcement system, including the installation of two wirelessly controlled Dolby Lake processors to manage the venue’s new flown multi-zoned L-ACOUSTIC speaker setup. ASHEVILLE, NC — In a planned development predicated on a mix of feed and need, d&b audiotechnik US has recently moved premises to Asheville, NC. Company president Colin Beveridge stated that the move was meant to "enable us to rotate a much bigger stock, which will in turn speed order processing and enhance our customer service.” The move is expected to bolster both output and training capabilities.

OXNARD, CA — The new 8XT and 12XT from L-ACOUSTICS are single-point-source coaxial loudspeakers. The 8XT measures 16.6 inches H by 9.8 inches W by 10.6 inches D and weighs 24.2 lbs. Operating on a frequency bandwidth of 65 Hz to 20 kHz, this response can be lowered to 32 Hz with the addition of the SB118 subwoofer.

RAINBOW CITY, AL — Gone are the days when corporate productions involved a simple slide show and hand-held microphone, so Dave Zammit, owner of Two Guys Audio Service, Inc (A Florida Corporation operating out of Rainbow City, Ala.), has recently added a new Soundcraft Vi6 digital live sound console to its inventory.

BONITA SPRINGS, FL — The city of Bonita Springs recently celebrated its seventh birthday with its annual “Celebrate Bonita” free festival, this year featuring headline acts the Charlie Daniels Band and Emerson Drive. Tech-Tronics of Fort Myers, Fl., deployed a Dynacord Cobra system for the event with a ground-stacked horizontal sub arc of 16 Cobra PWH boxes. Five vertically stacked Cobra Top boxes per side were deployed.

NEW YORK — ADLIB Audio worked with New York based sound engineer Pete Keppler to supply JBL VerTec on the Nine Inch Nails UK and European tour.

DALY CITY, CA — Blake Suib, a veteran monitor mix engineer with 25 years of experience, received a call last July to design a live sound system for singer and guitarist John Mayer. Suib specified a the Digidesign VENUE console for the gig.

LOS ANGELES — Three seasons ago the Hollywood Bowl underwent both a complete rebuild of its band shell and installation of a full L-ACOUSTICS amplifier and loudspeaker system, but understanding that precision sound is a process of continual refinement, the audio crew at the Bowl has made a number of changes over the past season — a process that was initiated by creating a more detailed model of the facility in SOUNDVISION, L-ACOUSTICS' 3D acoustical modeling software.

OLD LYME, CT — Celtic Woman, an ensemble show celebrating traditional and contemporary Irish music, features vocal and instrumental soloists, musicians, a choir and dancers and is currently on a North American tour with 40 channels of Sennheiser wireless microphones and personal monitors plus dozens of wired Evolution 900 series and Neumann backline and instrument microphones.

BLOOMFIELD, CT — Bloomfield, Conn's First Baptist Church's sound reinforcement system was never felt to be an ideal complement for its 3,000-seat sanctuary, so the church installed a new sound system featuring a Soundcraft Vi6 digital live sound console at front-of-house paired with an analog 48-channel Soundcraft MH3 running monitors.
