SÃO PAULO, Brazil – Quanta, a distributor for 20 years in Brazil, recently gave dBTechnologies a boost at the 27th Expomusic show, helping the company make inroads in the burgeoning market.

ELKHART, IN – Crown Audio named Brian Pickowitz, who has been with the company since 2004, market manager for tour sound. Pickowitz, who most recently served as business developer for tour sound, had previously worked as a project manager and a design engineer for the company.

WILLICH, Germany – The Music Group named David Foote chief technology officer for the group's audio and music brands, which include Behringer, Bugera, Midas and Klark Teknik. Foote brings with him over 18 years of executive level IT and IS operational experience as an entrepreneur, CTO, and CEO.

LAKEWOOD, NJ – Neutrik USA promoted Thomas (Tom) Chudyk to national sales manager. The new role will becomes effective Oct. 1. Neutrik also announced plans to moves to a new location in Charlotte, N.C. at the beginning of 2011.

OLD LYME, CT – John Falcone, president and CEO of Sennheiser USA, welcomed recent additions to its domestic product and sales teams. The company named Kevin Waehner product specialist, professional systems; Jack Ewer area sales manager, professional systems and Adam Irby area sales manager, retail.

BURLINGTON, MA – Avid named Ron Greenberg senior vice president of marketing. Greenberg will lead all global marketing efforts across the company's hardware, software and services offerings, including corporate branding, web presence and demand generation initiatives.

WUPPERTAL, Germany – Riedel Communications recently expanded its product management and international sales teams, adding Henning Kaltheuner and Óscar Mezquita.

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA – Renkus-Heinz named Rik Kirby vice president of sales and marketing. Kirby has been with Renkus-Heinz for five years, most recently as vice president of operations, and previously as national sales manager.

OEIRAS, Portugal – Boomerang, based here, will distribute Proel sound gear, stage equipment and its Tamburo product lines in Portugal. Led by owner Carlos Cunha, who credited Proel for its "impeccable reputation" and "efficiency in logistics," Boomerang is also the Portuguese distributor for Turbosound products.

TORONTO – Adamson Systems Engineering Inc. named Jon Bosaw U.S. sales manager. Bosaw, who has over 20 years experience in the pro audio industry, will be working out of a Seattle, WA office.
