FOOTHILL RANCH, CA – Renkus-Heinz named Ladd Temple technical sales manager. Prior to Renkus-Heinz, Temple worked for more than a decade at Peavey Electronics, most recently as product development manager for the company's Crest Audio and Architectural Acoustics divisions.

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – At Studer's Global Partners Conference Sept. 8, Andy Trott, Harman's VP of Soundcraft, Studer and AKG announced that, in addition to Bruno Hochstrasser, who was named Studer GM in August, there would be two more strategic appointments heading up R&D and Product Development, reporting to Bruno: Peter Glattli and Andrew Hills.

NORTHRIDGE, CA – Harman Professional named Ted Harshberger senior director, global operations for JBL Professional, a new position. Based in Northridge, CA, Harshberger will oversee operations in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, China and Denmark. He will report to Mark Ureda, vice president and general manager of Harman's JBL Professional division.

MADISON, WI – Full Compass Systems named Caroline Polster human resources manager. Prior to Full Compass, Polster held HR and recruiting positions with companies including Wright Vending & Distributing, Air Wisconsin Airlines, Hayes Manufacturing, Federal Mogul Sintered Products and the In-Sink-Erator division of Emerson Electric.

WASHINGTON, U.K. – CLD Distribution, which was recently acquired by Penn Elcom, has named audio industry veteran Mike Lavelle as technical sales manager. Lavelle will travel on CLD's behalf, visiting existing customers and potential new ones and gathering ideas and suggestions on how the company can improve its services.
