Celtic Woman Returns to U.S. with Meyer Sound

EAST RUTHERFOD, N.J. – With record-breaking releases topping Billboard charts and sold-out concerts spanning continents, Ireland’s Celtic Woman is back in the U.S. On its three-month coast-to-coast tour, the all-female group is playing shows ranging from massive to intimate and back again. With settings ranging from 2,000-seat theatres to 9,000-seat arenas, East Rutherford, NJ-based Masque Sound has outfitted the band with a versatile system of self-powered Meyer Sound loudspeakers to cover every contingency.

Drummer Boy Sound Hoops It Up with Dynacord Cobra

MIAMI – Miami’s Drummer Boy Sound, 99 JAMZ WEDR, Powerade and the City of Miami Gardens recently teamed up to sponsor and host the national touring Hoop It Up 3 on 3 basketball challenge at Calder Race track in Miami Gardens, Fla. Neumann Digital Microphones To Interconnect with DiGiCo Consoles

LAS VEGAS – Back in 2001, Neumann unveiled its Solution-D generation digital microphones. These conformed to the new AES 42 data transmission protocol to allow its digital microphones to work in conjunction with digital workstations. Simon Pro Gives Mission Worship Sound Makeover with McCauley Sound

RIVERSIDE, CA – The Mission Worship Center in Riverside, Calif., experienced structural damage, which forced them into a position to move their services into their gymnatorium.  Realizing that the gym was not going to handle the make-shift system from the main worship hall, Simon Productions worked with Pastor Justin Frailey of the church to get a new McCauley Sound iDESIGN installation, consisting of four iD112-4s, two iD208-26s, two iD108-26s, two AC288s and two SM72-2s.  Once the sanctuary is rebuilt, Mission Worship Center has already decided to go with a McCauley Sound line array.

TC Group and Gibson Guitar End Merger

RISSKOV, DENMARK and NASHVILLE, TN – TC Group and Gibson Guitar have officially ended their plans to merge, a venture that was to take place by March. According to a release from TC Group, “The main reason for not going further is that the CEO of Gibson (Henry Juszkiewicz) and Anders Fauerskov (CEO OF TC Group) simply have too different views on how things should operate.”
