Al Gore Inspires Iceland to Act on Global Warming through Meyer Sound System

REYKJAVIK, Iceland – Former Vice President and Nobel Prize Winner Al Gore brought his An Inconvenient Truth presentation to Reykjavik, as a guest of Iceland’s president Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson. Gore delivered his message on environmental consciousness to an audience of nearly 1,000 people who filled the University of Iceland’s Haskolabio theatre. Utmost intelligibility at the important event was entrusted to a self-powered Meyer Sound system provided by Reykjavik-based AV company, Exton.

Gold’s Gym Pumps Up Volume with Spider Ranch Productions

SAN FRANCISCO – Spider Ranch Productions of California recently completed an overhaul of the Gold’s Gym fitness center with a new distributed system built on the iDESIGN loudspeaker platform. Taking a 35-year-old fitness center, gutting it and turning it all back into a usable facility took a little over a year to complete.  Don Dickerson, general manager for Gold’s Gym in the San Francisco Bay area, contacted old friend Alex Moran from Spider Productions to design and install a new sound system. Moran provided a total of 29 McCauley Sound iDESIGN modules for the installation.
