EAW Products Chosen for Pride Barcelona 09

BARCELONA, Spain — Focus, S.A. was recently contracted to furnish sound reinforcement for Pride Barcelona 09, a GLBT event attended by an estimated 15,000 people. The event was held at Avenida Maria Cristina, and Focus relied on EAW for loudspeakers and processors for the night’s main stage concert, which featured live musical artists and DJs.

Adlib Takes On Two New Stages at Latitude Festival

BERLIN — For Bürgerfest (Citizen Party), which attracted 750,000 spectators to Brandenburg Gate to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Germany’s constitution, Bundespresseamt, Germany’s federal PR agency, hired Mediapool to provide also sound reinforcement. Mediapool used a Meyer Sound system comprising 186 loudspeakers.

Procon Supports Viva Comet Awards with Meyer Sound Gear

OBERHAUSEN, Germany — For the Comet Awards, recently held at König-Pilsener-Arena and broadcast on Viva TV, a German subsidiary of MTV Networks, Procon Event Engineering supplied over 190 Meyer Sound self-powered loudspeakers, which stayed out of TV sightlines for the live broadcast pop music event. The TM Array configuration of subwoofers was deployed to provide even low-frequency coverage.
