BUDAPEST, Hungary – For the current tour of Europe, Faithless FOH engineer Mark Kennedy is using one of two Midas PRO6 FOH systems supplied by Britannia Row, with the identical consoles leapfrogging each other to keep up with the band's busy summer schedule.

ZURICH, Switzerland – The opera house in Zurich has been equipped with a new communications system from Riedel Communications. Riedel, a manufacturer of fiber, intercom, audio and radio technology, provided a system combining Artist digital matrix intercom and Performer partyline technology.

LIVERPOOL, U.K. – Adlib Audio has become a member of the L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program, joining other PA companies in field-testing the system in collaboration with the L-Acoustics R&D team.

LONDON – The Clapham Grand is in the process of a technical upgrade that includes the installation of a Martin Audio W8LC Compact Line Array, reinforced with multiple Martin Audio AQ architectural loudspeakers.

SALVADOR-BAHIA, Brazil – The 16-day São João Da Bahia festival drew performers and up to 50,000 visitors per day from Brazil and beyond. Arena Áudio Eventos Ltd. was the soundco in charge of the festival's main stage. They provided Aero Series line arrays from D.A.S. Audio.

TURKU, Finland – FUNA International outfitted Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas cruise ship with a multitude of BSS Audio Soundweb London processing devices. Oasis of the Seas, the world's biggest cruise ship, is the fourth in a series of large cruise ships outfitted with Soundweb London devices by FUNA.

SERBIA and ROMANIA – When Massive Attack's international tour rolled into Eastern Europe in late June, playing the Belgrade Arena and the Bucharest Zone Arena, the audio production at both venues was a collaboration between two of the region's Synco Europe Network members – Audio Konstruktor of Serbia and Paradigma Group of Romania.

PERTH AND KINROSS, Scotland – A plethora of digital systems were used across this year's three-day T in the Park festival. Britannia Row deployed three Midas XL8 live performance systems at FOH on the main stage, while Scottish rental company EFX Audio supplied two XL8s for FOH on the Radio One stage.

HANGZHOU, Zhejiang Province, China – Running for 10 days from May 28 through June 6, the 2010 West Lake (Xihu) Music Festival took place at several venues throughout the city and concluded with a two-day outdoor concert series at the West Lake Tiandi, where the stage setup included D.A.S. Audio's Aero Series 2 loudspeakers.

LONDON – Imogen Heap, a classically trained musician, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose music ranges from rock and pop to electronica and avant-garde, is using two Avid VENUE systems-and her fans-to help in her latest charity efforts on her current Ellipse world tour.

BRESCIA, Italy – Nicola Piovani, who composed the score of the Roberto Benigni film Life is Beautiful, which won an Oscar as best music and was also nominated for a Grammy Award, performed his "Concerto in Quintetto" on July 1.
