Community Entasys Chosen for Son et Lumiere at Reims Cathedral

REIMS, France – For the son portion of a Son et Lumiere Spectacular celebrating 800 years at the Notre-Dame de Reims Cathedral, Community's Entasys was chosen for audio quality, SPL, coverage and throw. Called The Dream of Colors, the show takes place three times nightly from May through October at the cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Jamiroquai Tours Planet Earth with Midas XL8

SANTIAGO, Chile – FOH engineer Rick Pope is out on the Jamiroquai tour with a Midas XL8 live performance system at FOH, supplied by Britannia Row and operated by Britannia Row's Warren Grimsley, who is out for the first time with the system. Originally on the tour as PA tech, Grimsley was promoted to his position with little training on the XL8, but picked it up in no time.

Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice Gets Audio Upgrade with RCF Gear

VENICE, Italy – World-famous Saint Mark's Basilica, visited every year by 1.5 million plus people, has been equipped with a new sound system that includes 40 RCF loudspeaker enclosures and no fewer than 10 of the company's new VSA 2050 digitally steerable vertical line arrays. Marco Mazzon, founder of the company of the same name, installed the system.
