Before Illness Cut U.S. Tour Short, FOH, Monitor Engineers Supported Adele with iLive

LOS ANGELES – A bad case of laryngitis may have forced the cancellation of the last nine sold-out North American performances by British vocalist Adele, but before the tour was cut short, FOH engineer Dave McDonald and monitor engineer Joe Campbell were each supporting British vocalist Adele's U.S. tour with an Allen & Heath iLive digital mixing system. The system included two iLive-112 Control Surfaces with an iDR10 modular MixRack and iDR0 mini Rack, connected via ACE and input sharing over MADI.

Adlib Supports David Guetta’s U.K. Tour with L-Acoustics V-DOSC System

LIVERPOOL, U.K. – Adlib supplied a V-DOSC sound system, DJ set and crew for the recent David Guetta U.K. Tour. Guetta's FOH sound engineer is Hassane Es Siahi, who came onboard last August at the start of a festival tour which was also serviced by Adlib. However, this is the first full DJ set production tour in terms of touring the equipment – Guetta more typically does large one-off gigs at different destinations around the globe, using local productions.

Venerable Swiss Ice Hockey Stadium Equipped with EAW Gear

DAVOS, Switzerland – A key goal for the new sound system in historic Vaillant Arena, home of the Spengler Cup, was for minimal visual impact. And the installation/design team had to be encouraged when venue's owners showed up for an on-site inspection. The owners asked for a timetable projecting when the speakers would be installed. As it turned out, the gear – 42 EAW JFL210 compact line array speakers set in 12 decentralized clusters – was already in place.
