Bebo Service Provides dBTechnologies Gear at Motocross Grand Prix

FERMO, Italy – For the 2011 racing season's final two-day Grand Prix, held on the Motocross World Championships race course here, Bebo Service provided dBTechnologies' DVA T12 loudspeakers and DVA S20 subwoofers. The clusters of gear were suspended by cranes at the event. The race track covers an area measuring about 500 by 400 meters.

SSE Provides EAW Gear for Red Hot Chili Peppers Simulcast Concert

COLOGNE, Germany – SSE Audio Group provided EAW gear for a live concert that was simulcast to cinemas in the U.S. in support of the band's latest album, I'm With You. SSE provided a pair of EAW MicroSub 15s, eight MicroWedge 12s and two MicroWedge 15s to support installed KF730s (12 per side). Pope’s Visit to Germany Supported by E-V Gear

BERLIN – Pope Benedict XV1's recent visit to his native Germany included a Mass for 61,000 followers in the Olympic Stadium. The 56,000-square-meter venue already has a sound system with 171 Electro-Voice XLC enclosures installed. Extra gear provided for the occasion included 104 XLD181, 40 X-Line Xvls and Xvlts (main in- and out-hangs), along with 60 XLE181 enclosures on a delay line, all powered by Electro-Voice amplifiers.

Danish Castle Concert Gets Assist from L-Acoustics KARA

LEJRE, Denmark – Moto Rental has provided sound reinforcement equipment for the annual Ledreborg Castle Concert for nearly 20 years, and has used L-Acoustics systems for the event since 1999. FOH engineer Henrik Bonne selected Moto's new KARA WST line source system with SB18 subwoofers. The Danish National Chamber Orchestra hosts the event with various guest performers.

BENIDORM, Spain – At the three-day, three-stage Low Cost Festival, more than 50 bands performed, including Ok Go, Crystal Castles, Eli ‘Paperboy' Reed, FM Belfast, Sexy Sadie, Sidonie, Dorian, and MIKA. Stage number 2 used RCF's TT+ loudspeaker system, including 18 TTL55-A, nine TTS56-A, eight TTS28-A and six TTS26-A.

Italian Production, “Hell in a Cave,” Heard Via Meyer Sound Gear

CASTELLANA GROTTE, Italy – Casa Musicale Luisi provided Meyer Sound MM-4XP and UPM-1P loudspeakers for Hell in a Cave, which depicts Dante's Inferno in the well-known grottos here. Giovanni Bugari of Grisby Music, Meyer Sound's Italian distributor, designed the system, and Giuseppe Saponari, president of Offician Musicale, was the sound designer for the six-zone production.

Two Stadiums in Qatar Equipped with Renkus-Heinz IC Live

QATAR – Soliflex consultant Fredrik Setterberg equipped digitally-steerable IC Live systems for two 25,000-capacity soccer stadiums in Qatar. Soliflex and Al-Tamas provided each of the the two open-air venues with 16 IC-Live arrays and two subwoofers connected via RHAON. A MediaMatrix NION NX handles distribution of the Yahama-mixed audio to the system's 11 zones. All the loudspeaker processing is performed with RHAON.
