CHESSINGTON, U.K. — Marking three major 2012 milestones – 40 years as a company, 20 years of digital development and 10 years for the DiGiCo brand – DiGiCo has announced free upgrades for owners of its SD series consoles including its SD8, SD9, SD10 and SD11 models.

CHESSINGTON, UK — DiGiCo, which had received financial backing for its expansion five years ago from Matrix Equity Partners, recently announced new expansion plans made possible from a secondary investment from ISIS Equity Partners.

BUDAPEST, Hungary — Outline announced the formation of  Outline Central-Europe Ltd., led by Tamás Fazekas, CEO and owner of Zaj System House, a distribution partnership that will serve customers in eastern and central Europe. Called Outline C-E for short, it will serve the needs of customers in  Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Macedonia.

SINGAPORE – MediaCorp Radio’s 75th anniversary event, “MeRadio Rocks The Marina!” featured more than 25 acts for eight hours of music at the Marina Promontory. Sound contractor Showmakers Pte Ltd. – hired to provide a sound reinforcement system for the 5,000 capacity event – supplied loudspeakers from D.A.S. Audio.

VIADANA, Italy — All Access srl, the Martin Audio MLA consortium formed by three Italian rental companies — Amandla Productions, Electra Service and Fumasoli Service, with support from Martin Audio distributor Audiosales — has created a created a high-visibility way to transport and promote the MLA (Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array) system.

LONDON – Technomedia Solutions provided Abercrombie & Fitch's flagship London store with an audio system upgrade that included a custom configuration of Powersoft Digimod amplifier modules to power a distributed and networked sound system consisting of JBL AC15 and Martin AQ8 loudspeakers.

NIEBLA, Spain – This historic city near Spain's Atlantic coast features ancient walls and a castle. It also attracts visitors with the annual "Festival Flamenco Condado de Niebla." For the 2011 event, dB Sound supplied a RCF audio system. Along with several Flamenco artists, pop artist Kiko Gavin performed.

KIEV, Ukraine – Fotis Sound, L-Acoustics' rental network agent for Poland, provided an L-Acoustics K1 WST line source system for the opening of the Olympic Stadium in Kiev in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2012 Football Championship.

BRIGHTON, U.K. – MSL, which provided a Martin Audio system for Ministry of Sound's Hed Kandi bar in Clapham, U.K. earlier this year, returned to the brand for the new Hed Kandi flagship location in Brighton, using Martin Audio gear throughout the venue. The main dance floor setup pairs 15 wall-mounted AQ8 speakers with four floor-supported AQ212 and one AQ210 sub-bass units.

LONDON – The Soho Theatre, a showcase for drama, comedy and cabaret, has hosted British and international performers including Demetri Martin, John Leguizamo, Eugene Mirman, Stuart Silver and Richard Herring. The technical team recently added a Soundcraft Vi1 digital live sound console.

MEXICO CITY – Meyer Sound dealer Audiopro of Mexico City provided and installed Meyer Sound gear at a recently-opened Buddha-Bar chain restaurant/lounge location here. The setup includes 15 UP-4XP loudspeakers in stereo zones in the lounge area, with bass support from five M1D-Sub subwoofers. The system also includes 24 MM-4XP augmented by nine MM-10 miniature subwoofers in the terrace area.
