LAS VEGAS – When it was announced that Phish would be the first live act to follow U2 to Sphere in Las Vegas, many wondered how the band’s improvisational style would square with a venue that seems better suited to live concerts with a consistent setlist. But the four unique shows that ran from April 18-21 proved that, in the right hands, Sphere concerts can be wildly elaborate productions that are both free-form and tightly in synch with the music.

NEW YORK – ‘Water for Elephants’ opened at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre last month to glowing reviews. PRG worked with sound designer Walter Trarbach and sound effects specialist Angela Baughman to enhance the elaborate production design with the bustling energy of a circus, locomotives, puppetry, and of course, the voices of the performers.
