NY PopsUp Welcomes First In-Person Audience Back to a Broadway Theater in More than a Year

NEW YORK – On April 3, Nathan Lane and Savion Glover were the first to perform in a Broadway theater, more than a year after all Broadway productions were halted due to Covid-19 on March 12, 2020. The performance, Playbills, was staged at St. James Theatre and seen by a socially distanced in-person audience. It was also livestreamed on NY PopsUp’s Instagram feed, @NYPopsUp.

Budweiser Events Center and AHL Colorado Eagles Flying High with L-Acoustics

LOVELAND, CO – The Budweiser Events Center (BEC), a 7,200-capacity multi-purpose arena that’s home to the AHL’s Colorado Eagles, turned to Brown Note Productions for an audio upgrade that included a new L-Acoustics A Series loudspeaker system. NEA Webinar on Reopening Arts Venues Includes Cautious Optimism from Dr. Fauci

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Endowment for the Arts hosted a free webinar on how arts organizations can reopen their venues in 2021. The March 23 webinar featured comments by NIH’s NIAID director Dr. Anthony Fauci. While Dr. Fauci emphasized that “this is no guarantee,” he deemed it plausible that arts venues could be operating at full capacity by autumn.
