Wireworks SPEN and SPE5 Loudspeaker Cords

Heil Sound PR 20 UT

Heil Sound has introduced the PR 20 UT (Utility), a low-cost version of the PR 20. Specifications and performance characteristics are identical to the PR 20: wide frequency range, the ability to handle +140 dB SPL, -35 dB of rear rejection and natural articulation. The difference is a stripped down packaging scheme, putting the UT in the price range of any musician, recordist or sound company. The PR 20 UT microphone is suitable for live vocal and instrument applications. MSRP: $115.

Neumann Multi-channel Digital Microphone Interface

The DMI-8, an eight-channel version of the digital microphone interface, is now available from Neumann, which is designed to simplify setup for studio or live PA systems. The eight-channel version also offers AES 42 to EBU conversion, the ability to synchronize the mics without a sample rate converter, automatic word clock or AES 11 synchronization, an ability to handle sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 192 kHz and control and storage of the settings via Mac or PC. Danley SH-64 Loudspeaker

Danley Sound Labs’ SH-64 is designed as a standalone system for applications requiring high-SPL and low distortion. Danley said the SH-64 incorporates nine drivers in a single horn enclosure. BSS Break-Out Box

BSS Audio’s newest break-out box, the BLU-BOB, has eight analog audio outputs on standard terminal block connectors and a 256-channel digital audio bus. DIP switches on the rear of the BLU-BOB device give users a way to select consecutive channels, in groups of eight, from the digital audio bus. Multiple BLU-BOB devices can be configured to receive the same or different eight channel ranges. The BLU-BOB devices are powered by an external 24VDC power supply. Two versions are available— the BLU-BOB1, a half rack width, desk- or wall-mounted version, and the BLU-BOB2, a 19” single-rack version with mounting ears for equipment racks.

JBL PRX512Mi and PRX718S

The PRX512Mi is a 12-inch, 2-way, truly multipurpose, self-powered sound reinforcement system, with a frequency range of 46 Hz to 20 kHz. The PRX512Mi is comprised of a 12-inch Differential Drive woofer, a neodymium compression driver mounted to a 70 x 70-degree horn, all driven by a multichannel Crown International Class-D digital power amplifier.
