Audix's M1280B has been enhanced with a new discrete circuit design, extremely low noise components, recessed miniature XLR connector and immunity from RF caused by cell phones and wireless GSM devices.

Community Professional Loudspeakers is offering their R.5 weather-resistant loudspeakers in both standard black and white finishes. All R.5 models, including the short throw, two-way R.5Z, the medium throw, three-way R.5HP, the full range, two-way R.5COAX and the R.5SUB 12-inch subwoofer, can now be ordered in black, white or the original neutral light gray finish. All are covered by a five-year limited component warranty and a 15-year limited enclosure warranty.

At the recent Prolight+Sound 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany, beyerdynamic opened a new chapter with the introduction of a new line of 25 top quality Touring Gear (TG) microphones designed purely for live applications. There are four TG categories: TG 30 is entry level, TG 50 features standard characteristics, TG 70 has higher quality materials, and TG 90 is top shelf, boasting the unique TG V90r ribbon microphone and the TG V96c true condenser. They all feature the manufacturer's new Sound Channeling Technology.

Kaltman Creations' Invisible Waves X (IWX) expands on the Invisible Waves RF Spectrum Analyzer with new features including UFO Alert (Unidentified Frequency Objects) to warn of rogue interference; Click to Listen (listen-in to all RF space); RF Coordinator (to identify usable open RF space); RF Congestion Scale (to gauge the severity of local RF); RF Level Alert (to warn when any cataloged signals fall below assigned thresholds); an RF Event/Alarm Recorder and Logger; and insta-save and recall custom profiles and screen images.

L-Acoustics Soundvision 1.8, the latest version of its 3D acoustical simulation software, features an updated data product library including the new architectural series (KARAi, SB18i) and new KARA-MINIBU and MINIBUEX bumpers.

Roland Systems Group's R-1000 48-Track Recorder/Player is a stand alone, dedicated recorder/player designed to work with the Roland V-Mixing System for live events or productions. Users can also connect and use the R-1000 with any digital console that has MADI output capabilities by pairing it with the Roland S-MADI REAC MADI Bridge.

The TC-Helicon MP-75 handheld dynamic microphone goes beyond the MP-70 by offering vocalists Mic Control. The MP-75 communicates with vocal effects devices including VoiceLive 2, VoiceLive Touch, VoiceLive Singles and VoiceTone products with USB through a single button on the barrel of the microphone.

Waves Audio's OneKnob series is a set of seven plugins, each of which provides a particular effect controlled by a single knob. The series includes OneKnob Brighter, OneKnob Phatter, OneKnob Filter, OneKnob Pressure, OneKnob Louder, OneKnob Driver and OneKnob Wetter.

Lynx Pro Audio's LX-V12 Line Array, featured at Prolight + Sound, includes two 12" LF woofers, four 6.5" MF transducers and two 1.4" HF compression drivers with individual wave guides. The self-powered line array cabinet includes 4000W of class D amplification with PFC (Power Factor Correction) and delivers a 143dB peak.

Proel Flash 5, presented at ProLight + Sound 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany, is Proel's latest addition to the Flash series of compact, lightweight loudspeakers. Flash 5 is the most compact model in the series, and both an active (5A) and a passive (5P) model are available. It features a 100 W Class D bi-amplification module and crossover filter.

The Focusrite Control 2802 Dual Layer Mixing Console, a small-format recording console and a DAW control surface in one, is the result of a partnership between Focusrite Audio Engineering Ltd. and Audient Ltd. It lets users jump between analog mixing and DAW control, combining 28 inputs, monitoring, stereo master bus compression, and  control over every major DAW in a single surface.
