ANAHEIM, CA — The SoloAmp all-in-one performance system, which won “Best of Show” after its soft launch at Summer NAMM, has helped  Fishman make a foray into a new product category, with a positive response from dealers and field-tests underway by such singer/guitarists as Jerry Douglas, Fiona Boyes and Pat DiNizio of The Smithereens. The SoloAmp weighs less than 25 pounds without stand and offers performing acoustic guitarists/singers a combination of sound quality, coverage and  easy setup in a highly portable package that can be carried with one hand.

SoloAmp’s compact line array speaker design features wide horizontal dispersion and deeper sound penetration than traditional acoustic combo amps. It includes a digital (Class D) power amp that can produce 220 watts, high excursion drivers and a servo power amp design that produces full-bodied sound without subwoofers.

Other features include two mic/instrument input channels with 3-band EQ, phantom power and high-quality preamps that accept a wide range of input sources from acoustic instruments to microphones and line level sources. Each channel also offers independent reverb level, effect loop and phase and notch filters to guard against feedback.

SoloAmp also features four digital reverb effects; Monitor Input/Output, an Auxiliary stereo input with level control; Balanced XLR D.I. outputs for both channels, plus main mix; a set-break Mute button and universal voltage for worldwide operation.

SoloAmp ships complete with a padded carry bag fitted with wheels and a rugged tripod stand, with a MSRP of $1539.95    and MAP of $999.95.
