Turbosound's six-model Compact series includes four passive trapezoidal loudspeakers and two subwoofers, all outfitted with rigging features suited for portable live sound and fixed installation applications.
The four passive trapezoidal models include the TCX-8 compact passive 8" two-way, TCX-10 passive 10" two-way, TCX-12 passive 12" two-way, and TCX-15 passive 15" two-way loudspeakers. The Compact series also includes the TCX-15B single 15" and TCX-18B single 18" band-pass subwoofers.
The Compact series two-way models feature a concealed recessed pole mount socket on the bottom and a single carrying handle. Multiple internal rigging points are provided for use with Turbosound wall and ceiling brackets, eyebolts and OmniMount brackets.
The barrier strip connectors with loop-in and loop-out ability allow Compact series loudspeakers to be hard-wired for security in permanent installs. For portable use, Speakon NL4s provide connectivity. A recessed pole mount socket fits with standard speaker poles and tripod stands.
The Compact series features Turbosound's Converging Elliptical Waveguide, designed to provide smooth and even coverage over a wide listening area and the ability to be rotated through 90° within the enclosure to enable a swap of horizontal and vertical dispersion patterns.
