Proel's SW Series subwoofers, designed to complement full-range speakers, including the NET and FLASH Series, consists of two new models and an update to the existing FLASH15S, which has been renovated and renamed.
Varying in size, power and SPL, all SW models feature large voice coil (VC) woofers and a band-pass design to combine punchy and dynamic lows with an extended low frequency response. The compact class H and class D amplifier modules can generate up to 1000W of continuous power.
The SW118H and SW115H models have, respectively, 18" and 15" Celestion neodymium speakers and 1000W and 500W class D amplifiers. The SW115 model has 15" speaker with 350W class H amplifier.
All the modules include a stereo preamp section, 24dB/oct. crossover filters with selectable frequency and phase reverse switch.
The cabinets are built with 15/18mm plywood and feature two or three metal handles and 75mm wheels for an easy transport.
The SW series will be presented at Winter NAMM and will be available for sale in the first quarter 2011.
