Debuting at InfoComm is Point Source Audio’s CM-i3 intercom headset, offering in-ear performance, lightweight comfort and earphone modularity. While traditional head clamp-style headsets can provide excellent sound isolation, their bulkiness and weight is not optimal for sustained wearing. At just 1.8 ounces, the CM-i3 reduces the weight by as much as 90 percent compared to traditional headsets, with the ease of switching from left, right, or left and right listening modes. Users can also swap the supplied earphones with in-ears of their own choice, if desired. Availability is Q4, 2014.
