LAS VEGAS – Neutrik Americas, part of Neutrik Group, will showcase several product lines that address a variety of broadcast and related applications during the upcoming NAB show in Las Vegas, NV. These products include the Dante™ DLINE, DRAGONFLY, FIBERFOX, and the opticalCON® MTP® 12, MTP 16, MTP 24, MTP 48 group.
More details from Neutrik (www.neutrikgroup.com):
Following the success of its NA2-IO-DLINE DANTE endpoint, Neutrik Americas introduces three new line-level DLINE audio products. The NEUTRIK DANTE DLINE compact audio interfaces include the NA-2I2O-DLINE, the NA-2I-DLINE, and the NA-2O-DLINE. All three interfaces are designed to connect legacy audio gear to the newer and increasingly popular DANTE protocol. The NA-2I2O-DLINE is a 2 Line Input and 2 Line Output box with 1 DANTE/RJ45 Ethernet port. The NA-2I-DLINE interface offers 2 Line Input capability with 1 DANTE/RJ45 Ethernet Port, while the NA-2O-DLINE box offers 2 Line Output capability with 1 DANTE/RJ45 Ethernet Port.
NEUTRIK’s DRAGONFLY fiber optic connector series offers advanced lens technology for the Broadcast and AV markets — ensuring robust, reliable connectivity that is easier to maintain than common hybrid camera signal transmission systems—with similar performance. DRAGONFLY offers robust connectivity against vibration, thus having a low potential for damage. It is also field serviceable—thanks to its fusion splice technology, which makes DRAGONFLY an outstanding choice for field broadcast applications. Equally notable, DRAGONFLY’s hybrid connection transmits both power and data over a single connection, with low maintenance intervals. Switching to DRAGONFLY is easy, as it fits into standardized broadcast cutouts. Further, cleaning is quick and efficient by using compressed air and water.
The NEUTRIK FIBERFOX family is a line of rugged fiber optic products. FIBERFOX uniquely bridges between the physical contact world and the expanded beam world using chassis connectors that accept standard LCs on one side and any MIL-DTL-83526 compatible cable connectors on the other side. The FIBERFOX EBC25 cable connectors and chassis connectors, along with the XTREME cabling options, provide compelling connectivity choices. The EBC25 connectors feature green coloring that provides visual compatibility with similar systems. EBC25 chassis connectors feature a jam nut design for installation in environments where the D-size flange is unnecessary. This design provides a compelling drop-in alternative to existing MIL-DTL-83526 products.
The NEUTRIK opticalCON cable connector accommodates PC optical channels based on conventional and proven LC or MTP connectivity protected by a ruggedized and durable all-metal housing. It features a spring-loaded push-pull locking mechanism and excellent cable retention utilizing aramid yarn. The opticalCON MTP 12 Cable is a rugged and lightweight 12-channel mobile field cable with excellent cable retention due to its aramid yarn and black PUR outer jacket. It is available in single (APC) and multi-mode (PC). Similarly, the opticalCON MTP cable connector accommodates 12 optical fibers (multimode PC or single-mode APC) based on conventional and proven MTP® connectivity protected by a ruggedized and durable all-metal housing. These characteristics carry over to the opticalCON MTP 16, MTP 24, and MTP 48—each with a larger capacity for projects of varying scope.
David Kuklinkski, Neutrik Americas’ Senior Director of Fiber Optic Solutions, commented on the company’s offerings that will be on display during NAB, “We continue to grow our fiber optic product portfolio here at NEUTRIK. Customers are now using more fiber cabling in their productions than ever before. NEUTRIK has become the go-to brand for ruggedized fiber solutions from physical contact products like opticalCON MTP to our ever-expanding lineup of Expanded Beam Products such as FIBERFOX and DRAGONFLY. We are excited to showcase all these solutions and more at the NAB Show.”
