KLOTZ Cables has collaborated with one of Germany’s largest media technology installation companies to develop a series of all-new wall installation boxes. These Installation Connection Boxes (ICB) feature unique versatility, simplicity, safety and rugged design. Available in five different frame sizes, they meet all possible requirements and specifications for areas including theatres, concert halls and conference centres. They are supplied as standard without front panels and can thus be adapted to any situation.
Stable wall connection boxes in metal
The wall boxes are built from 2mm sheet metal for extreme stability. They allow connections from five sides. The boxes have recesses for mounting a wide variety of front panels or “face plates” – for example, with drilled holes for D series connectors, recesses for CEE 7/4 sockets (power outlets) and as circuit breaker panels. The face plates are available in sizes from two width units (ICBFP2E) to 84 width units with holes for 24 D Series connectors (ICBFPXLR24). Top and bottom plates with standard holes for strain relief elements can be fitted to insert connection cables.
Design in line with practical needs, including earth terminals

The black boxes, produced from solid metal with fine textured finish, have two threaded bolts on the inside that do duty both as earth terminals and installation components (e.g. top-hat rails). Connection is significantly simpler than with comparable products because of the unusual standard depth (1.5 depth units) of the boxes.
